After a successful spring auction, the Foundation is eager to jump into our fundraising efforts for this school year. We won’t be holding another Auction until Spring 2012, but we will be asking families to donate to our fund, which supports the teachers, faculty, and programs at Buist.
As a way to let parents learn more about the Foundation’s efforts, organization, and officers, we’re hosting an informal cocktail party Sun. Nov. 7, from 5-7 p.m. at the Aqua Terrace Bar, located on the roof of the Marriott on Lockwood Drive near the police station. It’s a great opportunity to meet the current board members, learn more about Buist and the International Baccalaureate program, and get involved.
We encourage all Buist parents to attend. There will be light hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and (hopefully) a beautiful sunset over the Ashley River.
